Architecture studio Formafantasma has been tasked with creating a stunning baroque display for the Baroque in Rome exhibition at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. When creating the slick aesthetic, the design studio focused on the principles of sustainability, which are very important, and as a result, Formafantasma used various materials that will be recycled afterward. For example, the fabrication company Kvadrat is a major sponsor for the exhibition. Formafantasma placed panels of colorful Kvadrat fabric and these will be donated to fashion schools after the exhibition is done. Other baroque display elements include painted plywood boxes for the sculptures.
Attendees who visit the Baroque in Rome exhibit can witness 16th and 17th-century Italian baroque masterpieces. Artists included Bernini and Caravaggio.
