Hybrid Protein Pastas

Banza Wheat Protein Pasta Combines Semolina Wheat with Chickpeas

Banza introduced the first-ever chickpea pasta in 2014 and in 2026, Banza Wheat Protein Pasta and Wheat Protein Mac & Cheese are coming to consumers to provide up to 22 grams of protein and four to seven grams of fiber per serving. "We started Banza to inspire people to eat more chickpeas, and this launch is about finding new ways to do exactly that," said Brian Rudolph, CEO and co-founder of Banza. "There are millions of consumers who want better nutrition but aren't willing to compromise on the taste and texture of wheat pasta. This product is for them."

Although many protein-minded shoppers are actively looking for products with this specific nutritional callout, both products from Banza's new Wheat Protein line also speak to the ingredient-conscious buyer who wants products that are CleanScan Certified by The Detox Project—meaning they're tested for glyphosate and 400+ pesticides and showed non-detectable results.
