The Baita pop-up restaurant is reminiscent of a European ski lodge, offering New Yorkers who were hoping to ski the slopes of northern Italy a cozy and authentic alternative.
This homey rustic cabin is located on the 14th floor of Eataly's flatiron building, offering a temporary escape from the chaos of the holiday season. Visitors of the restaurant are welcomed to enjoy the festive decor, while sampling Baita's indulgent winter menu, which includes warm bowls of stew, creamy pastas and Eataly's extensive listing of 120 wines.
To make the experience as authentic as possible, Baita set up space heaters in lieu of a centralized heating system, offering visitors the slightly chilly experience that's expected from mountainous ski chalets.
