Jugal Mistri Architects Designs the Baia Villas in Mandrem

Mumbai-based design studio Jugal Mistri Architects creates the Baia Villas. It is a set of six holiday homes in Mandrem, a small town north of Goa. The homes are meant to reflect the local area and are translated by their bright architecture and landscapes. It features peach tonal walls and arched structures which are arranged in a uniform grid in a dense area.

Founder of Jugal Mistri Architects, Jugal Mistri speaks about the design concept, stating "Baia Villas started with an intimate understanding of the site and the small town of Mandrem in north Goa, which boasts remarkable beaches and heightened spirits. [It] has a rich mix of local tradition and international appeal, boosting the senses with colourful textures, landscapes and water bodies."
