Pregnancy-Imitating Belts

This Baby Simulator Allows Fathers to Experience Pregnancy

Huggies and Ogilvy & Mather Argentina created a baby simulator that allows expecting fathers to experience pregnancy in a unique and touching way.

Huggies' pregnancy belt allows fathers to experience the movements of their expected babies. The pregnancy-imitating belt device is strapped on the pregnant mother and then another belt is strapped on to the father. The device imitates the movements of the baby in the mother’s belly in real-time. The fathers in the video were clearly moved by the sensation, even though the whole experience was just replicated by a machine. There is no word yet if Huggies plans on mass producing these belts; it would be interesting to see how this belt could affect men or same sex partners in terms of parenthood.
