London's Avobar is the first permanent avocado restaurant in the city, and will soon be opening on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden.
The restaurant's entire menu will feature dishes based in avocado, offering dishes such as "avocado and spicy tuna on rice, aubergine fries with avocado dip, and super-fruit tuna tartare." It will also offer avocado carpaccio, breakfast items, bowls and salads, and more. The store's layout will display living plant walls, natural materials, and will have a focus on "high quality, fresh ingredients."
With avocado's rising popularity becoming something of a running joke among Millennials, restaurants like Avobar are doing a good job at capitalizing on a fad that has showed no signs of slowing down, whether ironic or not.
