Avarto's cardboard packaging was produced in collaboration with C&A, and serves as a packaging solution for the brands eCommerce efforts.
The brand realized it needed to re-design its shipping containers following consumer complaints of not being able to seamlessly open the package. “That's why we analysed our packaging concept along with Arvato, and have developed a functional design that will now display our C&A branding, even more prominently.” said Knut Bruggemann, the head of eCommerce operations at C&A.
This eco-friendly re-design uses as little material and space as possible. Each time an order is placed, the brand's technology laser cuts the dimensions of the package, creating a bespoke box with little effort. The new design enables the company to cut down each box to the exact size needed which saves cost on material and optimizes the amount that can be shipped as less air is transported.
