Vero Gusto is a new line of premium, authentic Italian sauces from Barilla that features hand-crafted recipes and Italian-grown ingredients. While there are plenty of pasta products that loosely take inspiration from Italian culinary traditions, each one of these new sauces spotlights a signature Italian ingredient with a unique origin story.

The four-piece sauce collection includes Vero Gusto Tomato & Basil, which features featuring Genovese basil PDO, a product with a protected designation of origin that can only come from this region. While he Vero Gusto Heritage Marinara is made with naturally sweet Italian Datterini tomatoes from the Emilia Romagna and Lombardy regions, Vero Gusto Sicilian Herb boasts the bold, intense and aromatic Sicilian oregano herb.
