In recognition of Juneteenth and to kick off cookout season, Mother New York launched a limited-edition wine called Auntie Whine to honor the spirit of auntiehood and signature dance moves. As Mother New York's Penelope Vasquez says, "Whining is both subtle and sensual, just like how your favorite auntie might dance while holding a glass of her favorite wine.”

Auntie Whine is a full-bodied wine that boasts notes of cocoa butter and “a mouthfeel as smooth as a silk bonnet."

To accompany the wine, Mother New York curated an Auntir Whine playlist on Spotify featuring hits like Muder She Wrote and Jamaican dancehall and reggae artists like Serani, Chaka Demus & Pliers and Gyptian.
