Blippar is an app that has brought news, entertainment and products to life using augmented reality experiences and the company has now created the Augmented Reality Passport app.' This app aims to keep children entertained and distracted during long flights by using the iPhone app’s interactive game features.
To play, just 'blipp' the front cover of your British passport and a basic 3D flight simulator launches. In addition to this game, there are general knowledge questions and common phrases to learn in languages like Spanish, French, Italian and Croatian.
So whatever the destination, this app is sure to keep the tech-loving little ones busy so they're not worried about turbulence and sitting for hours. (Plus, you won't have to worry about them kicking the seat in front and ticking off the big guy sitting in it).
