Social Media Advertising Changes

Facebook Stated It Will Shut Down Audience Network on April 11th

Facebook announced that on April 11th the social media giant will stop operations for Audience Network, which is a digital platform that advertisers can use to place ads on Facebook. The social media platform will continue to operate the ad platform until April 10th, and following that date, it will not respond to ad bids that are placed on the platform.

Facebook indicated through a blog post that the decision to shut down Audience Network did to changing demands form advertisers, who are now more interested in other mobile advertising formats.

Those who have reports still on the platform will be able to access data from the platform for a period of six months after the platform is shutdown.
