The Audi R8 E-Tron Piloted Driving Technical Concept was recently debuted at the 2015 International CES Asia. Based on the electrically-powered, high performance R8 E-Tron sports car, it embraces a future that involves autonomous driving in addition to 456 horsepower capabilities, 679 pound-feet of torque and 340 kW of power. Although that amount of power might not seem to go hand-in-hand with autonomous features -- the Audi R8 E-Tron Piloted Driving Technical Concept hopes to prove that belief wrong.

Embracing the possibility that the future of road vehicles is autonomous, it's only natural that a car company would explore what that would mean in terms of a sports car. The Audi R8 E-Tron Piloted Driving Technical Concept is chock full of ultrasonic sensors, multiple video cameras and radar transmitters to prevent accidents.
