Athlete-Inspired Burrito Bowls

Chipotle Introduces CJ Carr's Double Chicken Bowl

Chipotle is introducing athlete-inspired burrito bowls through a new partnership with college quarterback CJ Carr, combining a personalized menu item with an interactive student rewards competition. The collaboration features Carr's preferred meal while encouraging fellow University of Notre Dame students to compete against him for the highest position on their campus Chipotle U leaderboard.

Available for a limited time, CJ Carr's Double Chicken Bowl includes double Pollo Asado, white rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce, and light tomatillo-red chili salsa. Students can earn leaderboard points through eligible purchases, with the top three participants receiving free burritos for a year and signed jerseys when the competition concludes December 31, 2026.

By connecting athlete endorsements with digital ordering and competitive rewards, Chipotle could strengthen engagement among college customers. The campaign may also encourage repeat purchases while expanding participation in its student loyalty program.
