Chinese design firm Neri&Hu has completed the design of the Artyzen New Bund 31 hotel located in Shanghai. It is right by the New Bund Performing Arts Center -- also designed by the same studio. The hotel is in the Pudong district and is a part of a larger development project known as Qiantan comprised of an office and shopping center.
Neri&Hu speak about the design behind the space, sharing "The hotel is envisioned as an urban oasis that takes its guests on a journey of surprise and discovery. With an abundance of outdoor landscape spaces, Artyzen Qiantan offers a rare experience in an urban hotel, a sense of respite and escape from the bustling city of Shanghai."
