The conceptual 'Aria' inhalers have been designed as a lineup of medical solutions for consumers that aim to transform perceptions of the essential medication devices.
The inhalers come in four style options including the Youth, Contemporary, Heritage and Active, which are designed with specific patients and needs in mind. This includes young children for the Youth, style-conscious professionals for the Contemporary, older asthmatics for the Heritage and sports enthusiasts for the Active. Each one of the inhalers works with an accompanying app to let users manage their intake of medication, get suggestions and much more.
The conceptual 'Aria' inhalers are the design work of Ryan Lee Sanderson, Justin Arsenault and Thrive Design, and were explained by Sanderson who said, "The form and function of the common rescue inhaler has hardly changed in the past few decades. The devices are about as subtle as a sledgehammer! We explored how we could update the technology and evolve the form to help users feel better—health-wise, and their connection to the device."
