The Archipielago space by Lorenzo Alvarez Architects seeks to "democratize the executive view," according to the designers, and ensure that everyone at the company is excited to come to work in the mornings.
To achieve this goal, the team opened up the space so that there are plenty of stations near the windows, allowing workers to take in the views while finishing off their jobs for the day. The office is located in Mexico City, so the only downside is that there is a decent amount of pollution that can get in the way of the view. However, the overall goal to "democratize" the space is certainly achieved, as workers of all levels are made to feel equal in terms of their offices.
