The new Apple Store in Istanbul was designed by architecture studio Foster + Partners. Located in the heart of the city on Bagdat Caddesi, a busy shopping destination, the new Apple Store is the company's third retail location in the area. The first Istanbul store opened in 2014 in the Zorlu Center.
Foster + Partners designed the store to include two stone walls and a glazed facade. The store is set back from the street and contains two levels. From the street level, the store appears as though it only includes one floor. The interior, flanked by two large walls, forms a sleek design with floor-to-ceiling glass that connects the stone walls. The architects included Aksaray Yaylak Granite stonework inside, used across the street's paving to create continuity between the store and the city.
