Light-Bending Camera Snapshots

Mariana Vargas Creates 'Iphoneography' Using Her Own iPhone 5

After the release of the newest iPhone Mariana Vargas captures inspiring pictures and creates an album of Apple iPhone 5 photography. The Digital Photographer calls this series 'Iphoneography' using the new term for the camera phone shots.

The pictures are so beautiful that it is hard to imagine that they were ever created using a cell phone camera. Images are captured of different sources of light within the photos, whether it be car lights, sunlight or colorful lights. The rays of light are focused on where the effects of the light on different objects is captured.

It will be interesting to see if this Apple iPhone 5 photography catches on as it makes the art of photography an accessible one to many people. Although, Vargas is still able to use angles and lighting to create these stunning shots which looks much easier than it is. The iPhone and other camera phones will continue to change the way we look at photography and art presently and in the future.
