Quizzes on careers, food, super powers and planets are some of the imaginative creations that were designed and built through the App Camp for Girls. This program is designed to give young girls the chance to learn about software development and technology, under the mentorship of women already working in the field.
The App Camp Quiz Compendium application showcases a collection of personality quizzes created and coded over the course of one week by young women. Under the guidance of female investors and entrepreneurs, girls who attend App Camp get the chance to design and execute the icons and interface that they initially brainstormed—the ultimate girl power.
As well as inspiring and empowering young girls, on a larger scale this program aims to increase gender equality in software development careers.
