Grotesque Anti-Smoking Ads

These Collaged Images of Smoking Effects Aim to Deter Addicted Users

UK global communications and advertising agency 'Saatchi & Saatchi' created a series of anti-smoking ads for a campaign that compiles all of the damages that lighting up can cause.

As many people have become largely desensitized to the individual images of the effects of smoking, the company looked for a new way to drive the message. This is done through anti-smoking ads that are made with a collage of gruesome images. With this, the agency shows that the harmful products are responsible for more than a few health problems.

The collage of smoking dangers are placed together to form a disfigured human shape, with cancerous organs, rotting yellowed teeth, destroyed eyeballs and much more making up the figures. The company created a total of 200 sets of the posters to be distributed as print and digital media.
