There are many companies that have been quick to develop a Facebook Messenger Bot and among them is American Express and its Amex Bot. As of now, American Express is the first financial company to make the most of Messenger's capabilities.
The Amex Bot is a tool for consumers to interact with the institution in a natural conversational way. Users will be able to get real-time updates on transactions and purchases, as well as a variety of other helpful notifications. For instance, after purchasing an airline ticket, the Amex Bot will send a receipt. Closer to the flight, the bot will offer up another message reminding travelers of the access they have to the complimentary American Express airport lounge.
