Iconic USA-Made Electric Guitars

Charvel Debuts the American Neo-Classic San Dimas Series

Charvel — a brand under the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation — has introduced the American Neo-Classic San Dimas Series, two USA-made electric guitars built in Corona, California. These instruments combine the iconic San Dimas body style from the 1980s with modern performance features, including Seymour Duncan JB and 59 pickups, stainless steel jumbo frets, and more.

Charvel's American Neo-Classic San Dimas Series includes the San Dimas Style 1 SD1 HH FR MPL with a top-mount Floyd Rose system for aggressive tremolo use while maintaining tuning stability, and the SD1 HH HT MPL with a hardtail bridge for maximum resonance and reliable tuning. Both instruments feature quartersawn maple necks with graphite reinforcement, a compound radius fingerboard that progresses from 12 to 16 inches for comfortable chording to effortless lead playing, and electric finishes such as Robin's Egg Blue, Racing Red, Gloss Black, and Velvet Midnight.
