Revry's America in Transition Spotlights Trans People of Color

'America in Transition' is a powerful trans-docu series that highlights the strives of trans people of color. The show was debuted through the global streaming network Revry and the release came as a celebration of the International Transgender Day of Visibility.

'America in Transition' is directed by Puerto Rican transgender filmmaker, educator and community organizer André Pérez. The themes and stylistic choices in the docu-series are directly informed by the director's "own experience coming of age in North Carolina."

The Revry Original dives deep into the social dynamics, including communal and familial issues, that are commonly faced by trans people of color in the United States — from a veteran turned activist to a woman living with HIV and trauma.
