Created by the British Designer Bethan Gray and revealed at 2017's Ambiente trade show, the Cafe Jade Serenity offers a reinterpretation of what beach-themed retail spaces tend to look like.
The large, Frankfurt-based trade show reveals the cafe as an "oasis of calm" amidst the chaos that surrounds the rest of the space. The cafe is largely sea blue in color and features minimalist decor in the form of cylindrical stools and tables. The sea blue color is complemented by pale pinks and mossy greens, meant to reflect the hues that can be found among coral reefs and around the ocean.
This minimalist cafe functions as a space that Ambiente visitors can find the time to sit, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle around them.
