Noisli.com recently made the transition from the web to an app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, making it easier for you to carry a variety of ambient noises around with you. The app’s sounds are available offline, meaning that you can tap into the sounds of a thunderstorm, the seaside or some white noise without needing to be connected to the Internet.
Just as on the Noisli website, you’re able to lay one sound on top of another, and with the app, now you can save your favorite mixes and come back to them at another time if you find a particularly good combo that helps you study, work or get to sleep. Two additionally handy features of the app are the fade-out timer and its ability to run in the background while other apps are up.
