Amazon Expands Palm-Reading Payment Solution 'Amazon One'

E-commerce giant Amazon has announced that it will be expanding Amazon One -- its palm-reading payment solution -- across a new selection of Whole Foods locations in California.

Up until now, only a few Whole Foods stores in New York and Los Angelese had implemented the innovative tech. However, with Amazon's new expansion, Amazone One will be integrated into an impressive 65 new locations. Similar to other Whole Foods stores, once the the palm-scanners are set up, customers will be able to pay for their groceries by swiping their hands over these innovative devices.

Similar to fingerprint ID technology, Amazone One utilizes biometric authentication to streamline retail payment processes. The benefit for the consumers is a completely contact-free and highly efficient shopping expereince.
