Twiggy Modular Partitions

The Amass System Branches Out from the Standard Separator Expectations

I'm sure that you can already tell that Amass by Benjamin Hubert is no typical space separator. This unique system can be built up, it can be hung down, and it can form densely packed or sparsely structured screens that shape walls and even corners.

The fascinating room divider was developed for the 100% Design trade show at the 2013 London Design Festival. The barrier had to lightly enclose the open auditorium, but allow passers-by to look on and listen. This intricate injection-molded polypropylene solution did the trick remarkably well, comprising 46,000 pieces in three different variations. The branch-like tubes can be linked together to form all sorts of shapes and patterns in various colors. Following the event, Amass by Benjamin Hubert was split up and reused as for curtains and partitions in offices.
