Wheeled Upholstered Stools

NII’s Allround Stool Features Casters for Flexible Indoor Use

The Allround stool by NII is a compact seating piece designed with integrated casters that allow it to move easily across a space. Developed by NII’s creative director Hirotaka Tako, the stool combines a cylindrical upholstered seat with a simple, continuous base, creating a minimal form that can function across different interior settings. The addition of wheels enables it to be repositioned quickly, supporting uses that range from seating to a temporary surface or support within a room.

NII’s design keeps the structure visually reduced, with soft upholstery contrasting against the clean geometry of the base. The casters are fully integrated into the form, maintaining a low profile while enabling mobility without added mechanisms. The stool’s proportions allow it to be used individually or grouped, adapting to changing layouts in residential or workspace environments. Its wheeled base supports quick shifts in placement across different interior settings.
