48 Urban Garden in Athens Features a Refurbished Airstream Kitchen

This camping-themed restaurant features a fully functioning on-site Airstream kitchen. 48 Urban Garden has a charming outdoor decor theme, with lattice detailing, lush gardens, planter boxes and a "sculptural wooden landscape." In addition to the Airstream land yacht kitchen, the dining establishment has multi-level seating areas inside and outside as well as bar tops. Photographed by Nikos Alexopoulos, picnic tables, lounge chairs, decks and custom lighting further encourage the garden theme.
Designed by Katerina Apostolou and Minna Colakis of AK-A Architects, the Airstream kitchen-featuring 48 Urban Garden is located in the Ileana Tounta Contemporary Art Center in Athens, Greece. The eatery serves seasonal, organic and locally sourced dishes that use fresh produce and herbs grown in the many in-house garden beds.
