Air-Powered Racer Toys

The Air-Power Turbo Racer Travels Up to 30 Feet at 13 Feet Per Second

At the 2025 Toy Fair, Thames & Kosmos spotlighted its Air-Power Turbo Racer, featuring a compressed air tank that propels the car forward at speeds of up to 13 feet per second and a distance of more than 60 feet. Thanks to its air-powered engine, which works similarly to a combustion engine in gasoline cars, this fast race car for kids needs no batteries or an electric motor. After the integrated pump is used to compress air into the tank, the car is ready to speed away.

This STEAM toy for ages eight and up invites kids to learn about the properties of air and see the wonders of physics in action. With 14 pumps, three million kilograms per cubic meter of pressure fills the tank, which then pushes the piston to knock against the valve, release into the cylinder, and rotates the car's rear axle.
