AMC collaborated with the IFC to launch its new ‘Airplane Mode’ game. The game is a simulation of a passenger on a six-hour flight. Clayton Neuman, the VP of Gaming at AMC, spoke on the project, “The game is as insightful as it is absurd; a meditation on life between destinations, and one that we will be proud to bring to players worldwide next year.”
The game features many aspects that mimic a normal commercial flight, including turbulence, safety videos and more. Additionally, the safety training video in the game was created by the IFC.
AMC will fully reveal the game during a charity fundraiser on November 12. The company scheduled Airplane Mode to be released for PCs in 2020.
