Maison Martell is introducing afrobeats-inspired luxury packaging through a limited-edition cognac collection created with Nigerian musician Davido and Ghanaian artist Prince Gyasi. The collaboration transforms traditional bottle designs into colourful artistic expressions, connecting contemporary African music with the brand's established craftsmanship.
Gyasi's artwork incorporates vibrant colours, flowing patterns, and Martell's signature blue to represent the rhythm and movement of Afrobeats. Davido's portrait appears on the VS bottle, surrounded by soundwave-inspired graphics. The collection includes a VS edition available in the United States for $35 and an XO release planned for Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. The designs also appear in Davido's Already Falling music video.
For Maison Martell, the collection strengthens its cultural positioning while expanding connections with international audiences. The partnership creates opportunities to attract consumers through collectible packaging, artistic collaborations, and music-driven brand experiences.
