This Acura Campaign is an Artistic Approach to Advertising on Twitter

This Acura campaign takes a unique approach to advertising on Twitter. Recently, Twitter made images a prominent part of its news feed and this is one great example of how this can be used creatively for marketing.

The photo and video media gallery of the ‘Acura_insider’ Twitter account has over 150 hand-drawn illustrations of the Acura NSX prototype, which were added on January 16th. When a user either scrolls up or down on the page, a gorgeous flipbook-like animation is revealed.

The reveal of the NSX prototype is tied in with the series ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ and Twitter users who responded to this Acura campaign were treated to a free coffee though the 'Tweetacoffee' Twitter account.
