The name is derived from the dimensions of the space the design firm had to revamp. The tiny 9.6 square meter floorplan is in Beijing. To facilitate the environment of the adaptable office, LUO Studio installed seven movable desks. When the need is present, these desks can be rearranged and the space can transform into "an amphitheater-style presentation room." Given the tight dimensions and the dynamic of the contemporary work day — one that is built around collaboration, an adaptable office space like this can come to be quite convenient.
