Aaron Jay is one talented illustrator. Yet instead of following the pack and creating Banksy-like images that provoke political and philosophical thought, he focuses on something a little closer to home. Aaron Jay takes mundane, everyday situations and objects and gives them a cute and comical twist that encourages you to look at your surroundings a little more closely for creative inspiration.

Working under the alias Randy Otter, Aaron Jay is currently based in Southampton. Full of fantastically fun ideas, he is particularly skilled at character design, able to imbue his artwork with playful personality. It is also clear from Aaron Jay's work that he has a talent for colour theory, finding tones that work for a specific illustration. Through color and creativity, the 23-year-old illustrator brings his imagination to life.
