With air travel becoming more and more cramped, JetBlue is hoping to "bring humanity back to air travel," with its new interior layout for its A320 aircraft. This redesigned cabin marks the first major cabin overhaul for Jet Blue since the airline launched in 2000. The redesigned A320 aircraft focuses primarily on comfort and does so by offering comfier seats, increased leg room and expanded entertainment options.
The new seats in the A320 cabin allow flyers to kick back in a more comfortable position and measures in at 18 inches wide. The expanded entertainment system will include a 10.1-inch high-definition seatback display that also allows for picture-in-picture capability. Flyers will be able to choose between over 100 TV channels, an extensive choice of on-demand movies, specific TV shows and games. The redesigned A320 aircraft is already in use by JetBlue and is currently in use for 101 of JetBlue's destinations.
