While the title of "employment agency" doesn't quite do it justice, A Fairer Chance in a way operates according to that logic -- but better. It is a social enterprise that is currently on the arc Business in the Community program. It offers skills to ex-offenders as well as NEET individuals in order to prepare them for sustainable job opportunities.
"We have placed over 300 reformed offenders and NEETS, into worthwhile employment since we set up this Community Interest Company just over two years ago," A Fairer Chance writes on its website of its successes. "Our beneficiaries have moved into a range of opportunities including graduate entry management roles, technical support jobs, retail, both entry level and supervisory positions, and both skilled and unskilled construction work."
