Virtual reality is expanding exponentially and will likely continue to permeate the mainstream technology market more aggressively in the coming years, so the '3rd Eye' VR headset identifies what can be done to streamline the equipment.
The headset does away with the bulky display unit that is present on the lens portion of virtually all VR headsets in order to make it more compact, streamlined and more appealing for users to wear for extended periods. Being that gaming is being affected most by virtual reality, the need for comfortable equipment that can be used for hours on end will be imperative to ensure it's appealing to avid gamers.
The '3rd Eye' VR headset is the design work of Tobia Repossi and also incorporates speakers and a headrest to ensure it's as ergonomic as possible.
