Home 3D printing machines are getting smaller and more reasonable to store, but BoXZY condenses the contents of an entire makerspace workshop into a neat desktop cube.
Since 3D printing projects often require additional tools for finishing, this machine equips designers with everything they need for wood carving, metalwork or CNC milling. With a durable aluminum frame, BoXZY makes it easy to interchange one attachment for another, or create something entirely new of your own design. This capable machine prints with a number of filaments and is capable of milling almost anything from aluminum to hardwood, acrylic and steel alloys.
This do-it-all machine initially set out to raise $50,000 on Kickstarter and with a month to go on the campaign, BoXZY has collected about $370,000 in funds.
