Honda is changing the way we can customize our cars by introducing 3D printable cars. By introducing 3D printing files for some of its past concept cars, people have the ability to print models of their favorite cars at home.
The files are published under the Creative Commons 4.0 license. There is currently five concepts you are able to choose from. The concepts include the Fuya-Jo, FSR concept, Kiwami, Puyo and the NSX concept. A project like this makes you ask, what can't we 3D print? These cool concepts give the consumer a way to customize these 3D printable cars exactly the way they dreamed they would look like.
I guess it's only a matter of time before we have fully functioning 3D printed operating vehicles at our fingertips.
