Artists, architects and draftsmen already trust their 2mm mechanical pencils while creating precise drawings, yet each stroke can be executed with additional smoothness and exactitude. Developed by Hribarcain, this is the Magno––the "world's first magnetically controlled pencil."
Inside the aircraft-grade aluminum shaft of the writing utensil is a magnetic component, free-moving and capable of frictionlessly sliding the pencil lead in and out, and keeping it fixed securely in place when the implement is in use. It's operated simply by gliding a silver ring along its length. The result of this predominantly concealed engineering is a slick exterior with a look that's more like a luxury ballpoint pen. The product is proof that even tried and true objects can be improved with precision modern technology.
