Machine Era introduces the Machine Era | Pencil, a click-activated modern mechanical pencil with a balanced design and a fully machined Titanium clip. Crowdfunded through Kickstarter, this product design answers a consumer demand for a functional, compact, and balanced pencil.

The modern mechanical pencil by Machine Era is "machined from solid bar (Grade 5 6AL-4V, EcoBrass, or 300 series Stainless)." The eraser can be removed for lead loading, and the square-cut round grip with a finger flat provides maximum comfort and grip. The modern mechanical pencil is available to consumers in three silhouettes—one made from Titanium, one made from Brass, and one featuring Stainless Steel.

Machine Era, formed in 2012, is a two-man team dedicated to crafting high-quality machined everyday carry items in their Richmond, Virginia shop.
