Creative agency Masquespacio created the ARCO collection by drawing inspiration from the distinctive look of 1970s furniture.
The lightweight and airy decor collection designed for Houtique features bold wireframe shapes in a bright yellow coloring that are accented by pink velvet cushions made by Houtique. The full range includes a couch, chairs, tables and high stool that all embrace arch shapes that add a playful touch to the pieces. This standout detail is emphasized by the name of the collection, ARCO, which means "arch" in Spanish.
As part of its design process, Masquespacio made a point to explore the juxtaposition of an industrial material like metal with colors and soft forms to create a different way for consumers to interact with the furniture pieces.
