Caleb Johnson was crowned the 13th American Idol last night, joining the ranks of these successful American Idol alums. Of course, time will only tell if he becomes as successful as Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and, of course, Kelly Clarkson. Not many have reached their full potential with this title in tow, although it has certainly opened a lot of doors.
It doesn't hurt that he has been nicknamed the 'Rock and Roll Viking.' With such a strong style, he has a good chance of being on par with these successful American Idol alums. Whether that means starring in hot fashion editorials like Katharine McPhee, singing for the president like Jennifer Hudson (who also won an Academy Award), or walking away with crates of Grammies, people will have to stay tuned.
