Pet fashions are another way in which humanity is trying to anthropomorphize animals. As humans, we are fascinated with teaching them to talk, feeding them people food and in this case, dressing them up. This trend shows the love and compassion we have for these little critters as we want to treat them as equals -- or just patronize them. But for the most part we have good intentions.
