Top 20 Trends of the Day

From Dunce Cap Fashion to Lumber Accessories

The top articles from January 6, 2012, range from fashion inspired by naughty school children to simplistic accessories made from wood.

A number of fashion editorials made it into the top trends of the day, including a collection from Slam City Skates that used London as its shooting location, and a photoshoot by Ana Ljubinkovic. Although the two photoshoots are very different in terms of aesthetics, both are equally as captivating. One goes with a British grunge look, while the other features pink hues and bright coloring.

Other features that gained a number of views included bedding made from used beer barrels and minimalist plant fixtures. Taking various products and repurposing them for another use is proving popular with a number of brands.

Our 2013 Trend Reports offer further analysis on trends, and help businesses find potential opportunities.
