Whether one associates a cacti's symbolism with pain, the desert, a tequila hangover, or otherwise, the innovations listed here are simple ways to exploit the cacti's image. Architecture, furniture, plush toys, food, jewelery, and of course creative marketing have benefited from these prickly plants.

Implications - The cactus is a prickly plant that's often associated with pain, and yet there have been ways to make them beautiful and appreciated. In a fairly tolerant society, this has given a lot of creative ground to artists who take unlikely objects and display its beauty or to exploit its "ugliness" in a manner that's intriguing and engaging. Creative marketing can benefit from this idea whether it's in PSAs or products that need a bit of a push to sell to the market.
