H1N1/Swine flu virus, and viruses in general, seemed to have an impact on car design. This cluster illustrates the variety of actual cars and concept cars that resemble Swine Flu and other viruses. Whether it is the shape or ubiquity of viruses that have in"flu"enced car designers, we'll never know, but pictures don't lie.

Implications - The world's urban population is constantly expanding, with more products released that are made specifically to serve this expansion. These micro car innovations are a perfect example of how forward-thinking companies are getting the jump on a worldwide demographic trend.
