Kadam Morten attended university in England before he began seriously practising meditation. He is now the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center New York City, and the Vajra Light Buddhist Center in White Plains. He was given the title Kadam by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, indicating his experience as a teacher of the Kadampa Tradition.
