ÆTHER/MASS Continues to Grow Experimental Design Products

ÆTHER/MASS is a design studio by Davy Groseman and the main goal of the firm is to create unique and experimental projects that join designers and craftsmen together. Notably, the collaborative project is limited to an edition of 12 to focus on creating expressive one of one-of-a-kind work. The items include the Beam, Forge, Aperture, and Exposure. All of these have a deeper meaning respectively whilst boasting a minimal design language.

Groseman speaks about the process, stating "Working with skilled craftsmen is the guiding principle in my work. Despite the popularity of crafts and the involvement of many young ‘makers’ working with their hands, authentic craftsmen are scarce. I’m talking about individuals who have an in-depth knowledge of their materials and can deliver exceptionally high quality. Personally, I aim to think broadly, sample various aspects, and experiment across different disciplines initially. Subsequently, I can delve deeper into the matter."
